In an age dominated by speed and screens, moments of true presence, shared attention, and emotional connection are becoming rare.
Experiencing live opera awakens emotion, listening, and human connection. It invites young people to discover themselves and understand others.
This cultural outreach project is led by Astrifiammante APS, dedicated to cultural initiatives with social impact, with musical direction by the international vocal studio New Voice Studio Brilla-Paglin. It brings together professional organizations and internationally renowned performers around a shared belief in art as an essential element of growth.
Goals
• To introduce middle school students to Italian opera through an immersive journey into Pergolesi’s short, lively opera La Serva Padrona, guiding them toward deep listening, imagination, empathy, and critical thinking: an ideal first encounter.
• To present the opera in a public gala evening in support of Accanto al Prossimo ONLUS, aiding children and young people with disabilities.
Thanks to you, La Serva Padrona will be performed at Teatro La Vittoria, Ostra (Italy), by internationally recognised artists
